CIWED Community-Based Livelihood Initiative Project ((CLIP)

CIWED entered into partnership with Tools for Self Reliance (TfSR), a UK based donor to implement Community-Based Livelihood Initiative Project ((CLIP) to economically empower 15 young people (10 girls and 5 boys) in the Northern Region of Ghana on tailoring and dressmaking and electronic welding and fabrication respectively to become self-reliant. The organization also give the trainees theoretical training to couple with the practical training such as Business training (record keeping, basic accounts and record, and credit management), Life skills training for 15 trainees (Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health) and Financial literacy, Numeracy trainings and Basic book-keeping to give them a fair understanding of business and entrepreneurship and how to link with customer and their colleagues trainers when they graduated.
